Winter Winds Farm's cheeses are all farmstead cheese - made with milk from their own goats, on their farm. Everything is made by hand, in small batches.
Soft, fresh and spreadable. This smoked chevre is seasonal.
They smoke their chevre with a mix of cherry, maple and alder woods. It's smoked around 250 degrees for approximately 30 minutes, leaving you with a slightly sweet and light smoke flavor. It measures up to a big cabs, but can be enjoyed my itself or alongside since salmon, on top of chili.
Pairs well with a white French Burgundy, Champagne and Farmstead Cider.
