These stunning note cards are from a chef friend of mine in San Francisco, Chris Marchino. I happened to come across his artwork on Instragram and asked him to do an exclusive series just for Food Shed Idaho.
There are five different, beautiful and colorful cards. Each with their own personality but still conveying what Teton Valley Idaho is all about. Great as a gift set, or just to use as individual thank you cards. These are so beautiful you might want to even frame them.
Where did Chris chef before? Spiaggia in Chicago, then Contagna in San Francisco (where I met him) and then lastly at Airbnb (you know all those tech companies had great cafeterias!).
Arborio was the boar at Late Bloomer Ranch, you can tell that just by this swagger. He's retired now. We like to think he is pretty cute, and the ladies seem to like him too.
These pasture raised hens are also from Late Bloomer Ranch. They enjoy a wide open pasture of alfalfa and views of the Grand Tetons and the Big Hole Mountains as well.
If your a fisherman, you can appreciate the catch of the day. This trout from the Snake River almost looks real. What's for dinner tonight?
The State Bird of Idaho is this little Mountain Bluebird, and boy isn't he stunning. Look for them in early Spring thru early Summer.
The last card was inspired from a photo I took of the 2020 Teton Valley Balloon Rally. Chris captured it perfectly. Gorgeous.
