In the warm embrace of the summer of 1905 two brothers brought a covered wagon across the vast expanse of Wyoming.  They were the young sons of Norwegian immigrants, and they were headed West to seek their fortunes in Oregon.

But as they climbed Teton Pass on their way out of Jackson Hole they broke a wheel and had to turn back.  The blacksmith in the town of Wilson pointed them in the direction of a shady spot a few miles away, along the banks of the Snake River, that had good water and plenty of grass for their horses.  They liked it so much that they decided to stay right there.

120 years and six generations later, the Linn Family is still living and working their original homestead.  They have endeavored to be good stewards to this cherished piece of Jackson Hole, and we approach ranching with dedication and appreciation for the natural beauty and bounty of this place.  Today they raise grass-fed cattle, sell farm-fresh eggs, and grow some of the finest vegetables you can find in the valley—all using sustainable high-altitude regenerative agriculture practices.
