An ancient recipe: fresh rose petals from the Genoese hinterland, water, sugar, and lemon juice. The unique sweetness of this syrup enhances its properties: thirst-quenching, astringent, and purifying. Our roses, whose petals are separated by hand, come from small producers in the Genoese hinterland. They primarily belong to three varieties: Gallica, Muscosa, and Rugosa. A Slow Food Presidium.
