Pale red brick color. Very aromatic with notes of dried flowers, violets and cherries. Full-bodied and dry, but elegant with plump red fruit balanced by chewy tannins and bright acidity.
Pair with rich, meaty dishes like braised short ribs and stews. Makes for a nice complement to duck breast or even sausage-topped pizza!
