The Mokaya plantation is located in the Chiapas region, which extends to the borders of Guatemala. Nearly 2,000 years before our era, the Mokayas, indigenous people of fishermen, already consumed a drink made from cocoa pulp or seeds: the first "chocolate" in the world, then called "kakawa".
