Friis Holm calls their La Dalia chocolates 'The Lazy Cocoa Growers Blend', because it is a mix of different sorts cacao beans. When they asked the farmers to sort the beans into the different sorts, they said no! So as a friendly banter, we thought that was a bit lazy! But luckily enough, we now get to enjoy this fantastic chocolate with a mix many different sorts.
Made with a mix of cacao varieties from known and unknown old heritage trees from ten growers in the La Dalia region of Nicaragua.
Strong aromatic acidity with deep cacao notes.
La Dalia 100 % is in the same series as La Dalia 60 %, La Dalia 70 % and La Dalia 85 %. The La Dalia 100 % is a very acidic chocolate, with a mineral character.
