This exquisite marron cream (made with chestnut pieces) has a wonderfully smooth texture, and a delicate and round taste, thanks to the use of real peeled chestnuts (not cooked chestnuts with their skins on). Made only with cane sugar and Bourbon vanilla bean. Chestnuts are primarily from central Italy: Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, Florence, and Bologna areas.
Wonderful on a croissant or toast, but also wonderful in mousse, creams, and as a gelato flavor.
