Inspired by lake cabins in Northern Minnesota, Faribault's Cabin Wool Throw features their iconic Cabin stripe pattern.

The natural insulation it provides makes it great for both outdoor adventures and indoor relaxation.  Whether you're outside by a bonfire with friends, or snuggled up indoors by the fireplace with a good book, this throw will keep you warm and comfortable in any setting.

Made in the USA with soft wool yarns at the Mill in Faribault Minnesota, this Cabin Wool Throw is soft, durable, and will bring the cabin look to any room in your home.  It also makes the perfect gift for anyone who loves the natural beauty of Minnesota, cabin life, or just appreciates the comfort and style of a well-crafted blanket.

We are we carrying these wool throws?  Because no one else in Teton Valley is.  Five years ago, on my tour-of-America (with my trusty sidekick, Sparky, of course), we stopped at the Faribault mill.  Faribault Woolen Mill is an institution, and the quality of their blankets is unsurpassed.  In the 50’s the mill was the first woolen manufacturer to offer moth-proofed, thermal woven, and washable woolen blankets.

I had read a heartfelt story about how the mill had closed and been tagged for liquidation in 2009, then purchased and reopened in 2011.  This stop was added to my route before we left San Francisco.  We got a tour of the mill (yes, they even let Sparky in the factory!) and purchased some blankets.  What I love about them is that all their wool is from the US and made at this location.

100% Wool - Fine Hand Feel.

Their fine hand feel 100% wool is sourced right here in the USA from sheep farms in the Rocky Mountain region.  It’s a blend of wool from Rambouillet & Merino sheep and is used in many of their best-selling throws and bed blankets.

Machine wash and line dry.  With the right care, Faribault Mill products can last for generations.
