Podere Francesco's compote is made with just one ingredient: fruit, with no added sugars or other additives. It releases the essence of the fruit, hand-picked at peak ripeness on the rolling hills of Abruzzo. To preserve the fruit's natural aromas and colors without altering them, it is vacuum-packed and cooked at a low temperature.
Thanks to the very high percentage of fruit used to make this compote (approximately 250 g of fruit per 100 g of compote), it is not necessary to add any gelling agent or pectin which would alter its flavour and properties.
