Liguria, known for centuries as "The country where orange blossoms bloom," is the land of the aroma of orange blossom. The bitter orange blossoms are picked in spring, one by one with a slow, manual movement, and dropped onto burlap cloths. Once harvested, they are placed in a traditional still for distillation, which lasts for hours. These small white flowers are distilled with passion and expertise in Vallebona (Imperia) by the Guglielmi family, a centuries-old distillery and Slow Food Presidium, operating for over 160 years.
