Great everyday red wine.  Soft and elegant; long in the mouth with notes of mature red fruits and displays the structure necessary for long aging.  Ruby red with violet reflections.  Shows black cherry, wild blackberry and plum fruit with a spicy, toasted overtone.

Pairs well with charcuterie, meat, and aged cheese.  Often compared with Nebbiolo and Sangiovese.

Like many Italian regions, Campania is home to an impressive array of grape varieties, some found almost nowhere else on earth. Its most important variety is arguably Aglianico, the grape behind the region’s two most famous and respected red wines: Taurasi and Aglianico del Taburno.

Ingredients:  aglianico grapes | 13% alcohol

Weight:  750 ml
