93 Points - Wine Enthusiasts, Roger Voss Dec 2017: "2009 Brut – Monsieur Léonard: (100% chardonnay, disgorged Sept 2017). Now approaching maturity although certainly not leaving its fruit behind, this is a fine structured wine. It has hints of toastiness, as well as spice while keeping bright acidity and a tangy texture. The wine is rich still tense and ready to drink."
Soil: Belemnite chalks. Harvested entirely by hand. No herbicides nor pesticides used in any of the vineyards. Strict sorting for only the healthiest grapes prior removal of stems. Chardonnay is transported in the Copinet cellars within an hour of harvest, before sunrise.
