Centuries old Rioja Alta, the Martinez Alesanco winery, is still in the hands of the Alesanco family. They have some of the most stunning holdings in the Rioja Alta region, centered mostly around Badaran. Their Rioja Reserva fully expresses the terrior and the careful farming and winemaking that goes towards every bottle.
Deep ruby to garnet with purple-maroon hues. A ripe cherry, fig, and current berry noes with sweet vanilla, cedar wood, sandal wood, old leather, leafy forest floor, and fruit balsamic.
The palata is rich and ripe with red and black fruits, a firm tannin structure with the same sweet vanilla, smokey notes along with spice, plum, cocoa, and balsamic integrated into a long finish.
